PUBG Battlegrounds goes free-to-play
PUBG Battlegrounds goes free-to-play on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia on January 12, 2022. Players can pre-register right now by clicking here. The pre-registration rewards include:
- Highslide Slick backpack (Level 1)
- Highslide Slick top
- 2 Preset Slot coupons
Players who have purchased and already own PUBG Battlegrounds will be rewarded with a Special Commemorative pack that contains Battlegrounds Plus upgrade and some exclusive rewards. The Special Commemorative pack features:
- Battlegrounds Plus
- Battle-hardened Legacy costume set
- Shackle and Shanks Legacy pan skin
- Battle-hardened Legacy nameplate
All of these rewards will be automatically added to player accounts when they login for the first time after PUBG Battlegrounds goes free-to-play.

Battlegrounds Plus
Battlegrounds Plus will go live as a premium upgrade for PUBG Battlegrounds after it goes free-to-play. Battlegrounds Plus will be a one-time purchase and it includes:
- Survival Mastery XP +100% boost
- Career – Medal tab
- Ranked mode
- Creating and playing a custom match
- Captain’s Camo hat
- Captain’s Camo mask
- Captain’s Camo gloves
- Bonus 1,300 G-Coin
Battlegrounds Plus will cost $12.99 USD (approximately Rs 984) after the game’s free-to-play transition. The Indian pricing of Battlegrounds Plus is not announced yet.
