Krafton has rolled out a new anti-cheat update for PUBG New State. The dev team has announced that the anti-cheat update is already live and the team is implementing stronger measures towards cheaters. Krafton has previously released an anti-cheat update for PUBG New State last month and it will continue to do so with future updates. Since cheating is a major issue in online multiplayer games, developers have to continuously evolve their anti-cheat measures. Hopefully, the new anti-cheat update will help in reducing incidents of cheating in PUBG New State.
Today, we have updated our anti-cheat system and added additional logic.— PUBG: NEW STATE Dev Team (@NEWSTATE_DEV) December 27, 2021
We will continuously take stronger measures toward abusive players & cheaters.
PUBG New State dev team has said, “Today, we have updated our anti-cheat system and added additional logic.” The team has also promised that it will take “stronger measures towards abusive players and cheaters.” It remains to be seen how the anti-cheat update affects PUBG New State matches.
Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton’s other popular mobile battle royale game, has started taking even more extreme measures to combat cheating. Krafton has now started banning devices of players who get caught cheating in BGMI. Although Krafton hasn’t announced any hardware bans for PUBG New State cheaters, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it did.
Cheating with unauthorized third-party apps has been a major problem in online shooters. Krafton seems to be taking this issue seriously whether its in PUBG New State or BGMI. Hopefully, the company’s strict approach against cheating will lead to reduced instances of cheating in both games.
