Realme could be gearing up for the global launch of the new Realme 12 Pro series as the phones have been certified yet again. With the India launch of the Redmi Note 13 series scheduled for January 4th and the global launch around the same time, Realme could be eyeing to compete with these devices with their own mid-range series.
Realme 12 Pro, Realme 12 Pro+ pass TDRA certification in UAE
Realme’s upcoming Realme 12 Pro series has now received TRDA certification (via Gizmochina). This is not the first time these models have been spotted on certification websites, as the series was earlier listed on India’s BIS and Indonesia’s TKDN portals.
An unconfirmed source shared the model names earlier, and TDRA certification corroborates the same. The RMX3840 model number belongs to the Realme 12 Pro+, which is expected to feature a telephoto zoom camera. Realme 12 Pro, on the other hand, is RMX3842.
These certification listings could mean an unveil within the next couple of months. The timing won’t be unusual as there was about an 8-month gap between the launch of Realme 10 Pro and the Realme 11 Pro series, too. The phones are expected to closely rival Redmi’s offering in their home country, China.
