Additionally, the phone includes a charger with the same output in the box, which many customers will appreciate.
However, the Realme 13+ faces stiff competition in the segment, especially from the likes of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion (review). In this dedicated comparison, we check the two smartphones’ battery performance and management.

PCMark
The PCMark battery test offers a decent insight into the smartphone’s battery performance in the most ideal condition. For our test, we enabled flight mode on the Realme 13+ and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. We also ensured similar brightness and audio levels for a fair contest. Needless to say, the phones were fully charged at the start of the round.

The Realme 13+ ran the PCMark battery test for over 10 hours before its battery dropped to 20 percent. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion also ran the test for nearly 10 hours. This suggests suggests that the Realme 13+ is likely to offer better battery life overall. Its ability to sustain a longer duration in the same test conditions indicates it can deliver extended usage under similar workloads.

The next test involved running a YouTube video for 30 minutes. We ensured a similar brightness, audio levels, and resolution for a fair fight.

For this test, we played Battlegrounds Mobile India, Real Racing 3, and Call of Duty on both devices for 30 minutes each. We measured the average battery drop after playing all three titles. The Realme 13+ had an average battery consumption of 6.6 percent, while the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion had an average battery drop of 8.6 percent. For gamers, Realme 13+ might be a better choice.

Both Realme 13+ and Edge 50 Fusion pack a 5,000mAh battery. However, both smartphones offer different charging speeds.

Based on our test, the Realme 13+ was ahead of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, especially in the gaming round. However, for daily productivity both smartphones consumed the same amount of battery. Both smartphones also took similar time to charge despite differences in the charging speed.
