Realme 2, Realme C1 start receiving ColorOS 5.2 OTA update

“It comes along with the Android Security Patch for December”

Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Realme has started rolling out the stable ColorOS 5.2 update for Realme 2 and Realme C1 smartphones. The company earlier planned to release the update for Realme 1 and Realme 2 in December, while holding it back for Realme C1 for some time more. But somehow it has done away with that strategy and started seeding it to both the smartphones simultaneously. Realme has also released a stable update for Realme 2 Pro which brings better battery optimisation and the December Security patch. On its official forum, the company has stated that this over-the-air (OTA) update will be seeded in a phased manner, which means that only a select number of Realme 2 and Realme C1 users will get it initially.
