“The Realme 3 is the successor to the Realme 2 and will be launched on March 4th”
In the last few weeks, there have been plenty of rumours and leaks regarding the Realme 3 smartphone. Realme India head Madhav Sheth has also teased the phone on Twitter and confirmed a few things about the phone. Now, he has confirmed the Realme 3 India launch date is March 4th, putting a rest to all rumours and speculations around the date. The company will also make fans a part of the Realme 3 launch event, the brand’s India head said.
No more compromise between Power and Style as it’s time to #PowerYourStyle. I will select 10 fans to be a part of this starry arrival of #realme3 on 4th March. RT this and share your excitement! pic.twitter.com/nv3O4lLslG

In his tweet, Sheth said the Realme 3 India launch event will be held at 12:30pm, but there are no details regarding the venue yet. 10 fans will be selected by him to be part of the launch event on March 4th. This comes days after the Realme Twitter account tweeted a picture of a phone that featured a vertical camera setup. All Realme phones have had a horizontal camera placement at the back, but that could change with the new one.
In another new leak, live images allegedly belonging to the Realme 3, were posted online. The images are blurry and don’t really reveal a lot of details, but it does show the back of the phone. There’s a Realme logo placed vertically at the bottom left and you can also see that it has a gradient finish. The phone has a black and blue gradient finish, however, the company had teased earlier that it is bringing back the diamond cut finish.
The image tweeted by the Realme executive has an image of a starry night with black and blue gradient. It is possible then, that the Realme 3 will have a diamond cut back design with starry gradient finish. The leaked images do show a starry back, but there’s no sign of a diamond cut design.
Another detail that the leaked images show, is that there is no fingerprint scanner visible at the back. Could it be that Realme 3 will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor? The OPPO K1 has one and that’s a fairly affordable device. Since OPPO owns Realme, we could see the same tech used in the new phone. Again, we cannot be sure of this, so it is better to wait till the first week of March to learn more. Stay tuned to find out!
