OPPO’s spun-off brand Realme has given a new paint job to its latest smartphone the Realme 3 Pro (review) in India. Apart from the Nitro Blue and Carbon Grey hues, the handset will also be available in the Lightning Purple colour option. The latter comes with a gradient finish, with purple on the right and black on the left side of the smartphone’s back panel. The new colour variant also forms a S-shaped line owing to the variation in the hues on the back. Interested buyers will be able to buy the Realme 3 Pro Lightning Purple colour variant from tomorrow, i.e. May 15th, via Flipkart and Realme.com.
The new colour option costs the same as the standard colour variants. To recall, the Realme 3 Pro with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage option will set you back to Rs 13,999, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option at Rs 16,999. The major highlights of the handset include Qualcomm’s upper mid-range Snapdragon 710 chipset and a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a waterdrop notch up top and 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone also rocks 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors on the rear, 25-megapixel shooter on the front, and a whopping 4,045mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging support.
Also, Realme C2 will go for sale in the country for the first time in the country tomorrow. The handset was launched alongside the Realme 3 Pro last month in India. The Realme C2 is a budget offering that comes with a sticker price of Rs 7,999. Other than May 15th, the Realme C2 will also be available for two more additional sales on May 24th and May 31st.
The phone sports a 6.1-inch dewdrop HD+ display and MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, accompanied by 2GB/3GB and 16GB/ 32GB internal storage. For photography, the Realme C2 relies on dual 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel cameras with f/2.2 aperture lens on the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with facial recognition on the front. Other features include Android 9 Pie-based on ColorOS 6.0, slow-mo video recording feature, and a 4,000mAh battery.
