Realme kickstarted the year with the launch of Realme 3 (review) on March 4th and the brand has now announced that it has sold 5 lakh units of the smartphone within three weeks. It sold over 3,11,800 units in the first two rounds of sales and dubbed the device as a ‘best seller’ in the segment. The Realme 3 is powered by the MediaTek Helio P70, runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, and a 4,230mAh battery.
Realme 3 price in India, specifications
The Realme 3 prices in India for the 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB variants are Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999, respectively. As for the specifications, Realme 3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a slight cut-out atop and 19:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 chipset and runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie. A 4,230mAh battery keeps the device up and running.
For photography, the handset rocks a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for depth effect. The front camera is equipped with a 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. The cameras are also backed by PDAF, Nightscape mode, Hybrid HDR, Portrait mode, and scene recognition features. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro-USB port. It comes with a 4230mAh battery.
Realme has recently announced a price cut to its Realme U1 (review). The Realme U1 is now available at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, while the top-end 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option cost Rs 11,999.
