“Realme 5 Pro specifications revealed by a tipster also include AMOLED display with waterdrop notch and perhaps an in-display fingerprint sensor”
Realme 5 Pro specifications have surfaced online ahead of the smartphone’s launch. The Realme 5 Pro India launch is slated for August 20th, where it is expected to unveil alongside its smaller sibling that will also have a quad-camera setup at the back and a U-shaped notch display. Now, popular tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has spilled the beans on Realme 5 Pro specifications, including the chipset and camera. He posted on Twitter that handset will rock the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 712 SoC compared to its predecessor 3 Pro’s Snapdragon 710 SoC.
PSA- Not really sure about that in-display fingerprint scanner, but since it will be using an AMOLED display so we have hopes for it.https://t.co/vn8GyOh3IJ

In addition to this, the Realme 5 Pro quad-camera setup at the back is tipped to feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor. This is in line with our report that said the Realme 5 series will not have 64MP camera. The company has claimed that the primary sensor of its upcoming phones will be able to capture good lowlight photos with a larger aperture and pixel size. This sensor will be accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle lens with field-of-view of 119-degrees. On the other hand, the Realme 5 will have a 16-megapixel primary sensor as part of the quad camera setup.
While the tipster didn’t state the screen size of Realme 5 Pro, he did mention there will be a waterdrop notch atop the AMOLED panel. The tweet also mentions the handset will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, though a subsequent tweet says the in-display biometric sensor is not a surety “but since it will be using an AMOLED display so we have hopes for it.” We had previously reported the display panel will have a U-shaped notch.
