“The Realme 5s with model number RMX1925 has been spotted on the BIS and NBTC certification authorities”
An upcoming Realme smartphone, named Realme 5s, has surfaced on India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) authorities. The authorities have certified the Realme 5s will have model number RMX1925. These certifications suggest the Realme 5s launch might not be too far away, perhaps at the November 20th X2 Pro India launch or at the XT 730G unveiling in December.
There is no word on the Realme 5s specifications yet; however, Nashville Chatter speculates that it could be arriving with specifications that are less powerful than that of the Realme 5. The latter is the company’s budget offering that comes with a quad-camera setup, 6.5-inch display, and Snapdragon 665 SoC ticking at its core.
If that’s the case, the Realme 5s could replace the company’s Realme 3i smartphone and caters to customers looking for entry-level smartphone. There is also a possibility that the Realme 5s could bridge the gap between Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. The Pro model packs the same quad-rear camera setup as the Realme 5 but has 48-megapixel sensor instead of the 12-megapixel shooter. The handset is driven by Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 712 mobile platform, paired with 4,035mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
The Realme 5 Pro price in India starts at Rs 13,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. This goes up to Rs 16,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The handset comes in Crystal Green and Sparkling Blue colour options. The Realme 5, on the other hand, costs Rs 9,999 for the base 3GB RAM variant. The phone’s 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM option comes with a sticker price of Rs 11,999. The offering is available in Crystal Blue and Crystal Purple hues.
