“Realme 6i budget phone is expected to come with 48MP quad cameras, 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging and a waterdrop notch at the front”
Realme 6i will be part of the upcoming Realme 6 series. The company on Tuesday teased the launch of the Realme 6 smartphone in India. While the Realme 6 is confirmed tp feature a 64MP quad camera setup, the Realme 6i is speculated to offer a 48MP quad camera system. Realme 6i has now bagged the FCC certification in the US, revealing images and key specifications of the smartphone with model number RMX2040. The listing suggests the Realme 6i will indeed sport a 48MP quad camera setup. Additionally, the phone will feature a 5,000mAh battery backed by an 18W fast-charging support, and a traditional rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Realme 6i FCC images
The FCC images of the Realme 6i show the volume rocker and SIM tray are present on the left side of the frame, while the right side houses the power button. The 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grills and USB Type-C port are at the bottom. It could measure 164.4 x 75.x 9.0mm and weigh 195 grams. Connectivity options include dual-SIM with LTE, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Sadly, the FCC certification doesn’t reveal anything much about the display size, chipset, RAM and storage, optics and more. But given that the Realme 6i is already certified in India, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, its launch seems to be imminent.
Separately, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth posted an image on Twitter that was shot on the Realme 6 with 64MP AI quad camera setup. He teased that the Realme 6 is set to launch in India soon, and we expect the launch date to fall somewhere in March. Realme will also be launching the Realme Band in India on March 5th, which shows the company is aiming to rapidly expand its product portfolio in the country in 2020.
The Realme Band will have a colour AMOLED display, heart rate sensor, Bluetooth connectivity and plug-and-charge design. It will be available in three colours – Black, Yellow, and a third mystery colour. Since it’s a fitness tracker, it should come with features like step counter, calories burnt, sleep tracking and many more.
