Realme is hosting an event in India today where it will be launching the Realme 8i, Realme 8s, Realme Pad (tablet), and few other accessories. The smartphones are the company’s latest addition to the Realme 8 series and are also India’s first phones to ship with MediaTek Dimensity 810 and Helio G96 chipset. The Realme Pad is the company’s first tablet and the company had already revealed some key specifications such as a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display, 7100mAh battery, and a single camera on the back. As for the accessories, the Realme Pocket 3W and Realme Cobble 5W Bluetooth speakers will be launched in the country on the same stage.

Realme 8i, Realme 8s, and Realme Pad specifications (expected)

The Realme 8i is said to sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The phone is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with Mali G57 MC2 GPU, at least 4GB RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage that should be further expandable via a microSD card. The phone is likely to boot Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box. The Realme 8i is said to have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP portrait camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There will reportedly be a 16MP snapper for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Realme 8i is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery.

The phone packs either 6GB or 8GB RAM, with 5GB virtual RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage. The phone is likely to run Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 custom skin. The Realme 8s will reportedly have a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor. It is said to have a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Dart fast-charging support.

Lastly, the Realme tablet is confirmed to sport a 10.4-inch display with 2000×2000 pixels resolution and an 82.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Realme Pad is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and at least 128GB storage. The tablet is likely to boot Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0. It is said to have an 8MP snapper on the front and back. It could measure 246.1 x 155.8 x 6.8~8.4mm and have quad stereo speakers. Realme Pad will be available in Blue and Silver colour options.
