Realme has launched a limited edition variant of the Realme 9 Pro+ in Thailand, the Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire edition, as promised. It takes design inspiration from Garena Free Fire, a multiplayer battle royale shooting game, which is incidentally banned in India. The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire limited edition retail box contains a slew of Free Fire goodies, alongside the Realme 9 Pro+ and a charger. Apart from the Free Fire theme at the rear panel, the phone packs the same configuration as a standard Realme 9 Pro+.

The retail box has a Free Fire character watermarked, Realme, 9 Pro+ and Free Fire branding, alongside black stripes all over the box. The box comes loaded with Free Fire characters and in-game vehicle stickers. Further, it has a Free Fire game map, a user manual, a Free Fire card, a SIM ejector tool, a charger, a USB Type-C cable and Realme 9 Pro+ with Free Fire aesthetics.

The Free Fire Realme 9 Pro+ edition features the same specifications as a standard Realme 9 Pro+. Realme 9 Pro+ flaunts a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and 1080×2400 pixels resolution. A MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with a 4,500mAh battery power the Realme 9 Pro+. The phone supports 60W fast charging. Realme 9 Pro+ comes with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Moving to the camera, Realme 9 Pro+ houses a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP primary shooter with OIS and EIS support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. A 16MP camera at the front takes care of selfie needs. Realme 9 Pro+ features an under-display fingerprint reader for security and boots Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

In Thailand, the smartphone retails at BHT 11,999 (Approx. Rs 27,300). There is no word yet on Realme’s plans to launch the Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire edition in India.
