- Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire special edition is in the works.
- The special edition phone will come with the same hardware as the regular Realme 9 Pro+
- The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire edition will eventually launch in India
Realme 9 Pro series debuted in India back in February with two models in the lineup: Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+. It seems Realme is now working on a special edition version of the Realme 9 Pro+. 91mobiles has learned from tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks that a Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire Edition is in the works and we bring you a first look at its design through a sketch. Interestingly Garena’s Free Fire game was banned by the government of India in February (although Free Fire Max is still available).
Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire edition design revealed
The Realme 9 Pro+ Free Fire sketch shows the design of the upcoming special edition phone. According to Steve, the changes are mainly cosmetic, with the Free Fire branding on the rear panel and accents on the sides. The device will likely come with a Free Fire theme as well.
The rectangular module is placed at the top-left corner, where triple camera lenses and an LED flash are expected to be housed. There’s ‘Booyah’ text engraved beside the camera module. We can see a few different camera module sketches beside the central design, which are possibly prototype designs. We don’t get to see the front of the phone but it’s not hard to guess there will be a corner hole-punch camera.
