Noted tipster Chun has claimed that Realme 9i will be the first smartphone from the Realme 9 series and will launch in January next year. The Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro are expected to launch at a later date, owing to chip shortage. The Realme 9i launch date remains unknown for now. The company has also not confirmed any details around the device’s launch at the moment. We can expect more details or leaks around the device in the coming weeks.
Realme 9i expected specifications
The report from the Pixel mentioned in the tweet also states that the smartphone will come with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display. Like many Realme phones in this price bracket, the device might include a hole-punch display in the upper left corner. It’s also likely to come with a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, which was there in a few previous smartphones of Realme in the past as well.
In addition, the smartphone might include up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, along with a 5000mAh battery. For selfies, the smartphone might come with a 32MP front camera. Further, for the primary rear camera, it could be of 64MP resolution. An 8MP Ultrawide sensor and a pair of 2MP camera sensors might make up the whole quad camera setup.
