Realme 9i launch event: time, how to watch online

The Realme 9i is set to launch today, i.e. January 18th, at 12:30 PM IST. The company will be live streaming the launch event on its official YouTube channel starting at 12:30 PM IST. Here’s the event link.

Realme 9i price in India (expected)

There’s no official word from Realme about the pricing as of now, but it is rumoured to be priced somewhere around Rs 15,000. As per Yogesh Brar, the Realme 9i will be available in multiple storage variants, and the base storage variant is expected to be priced at Rs 14,999. In Vietnam, the Realme 9i price is VND 6,290,000 (around Rs 20,500).

Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 480nits brightness, and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by the 6nm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. The 9i boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box.

The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary lens with PDAF and f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP tertiary lens with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 16MP sensor for selfies. Connectivity options would be 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication purposes.
