Realme Book Slim, the company’s first-ever laptop, was launched in India on Wednesday during the Realme GT launch event. The laptop comes with an interesting design language that is headlined by a 3:2 display and a metal body to give it a premium look and feel. Realme Book Slim price in India, sale date

The Realme Book Slim i3 8GB+256GB model is priced at Rs 46,999, while the i5 8GB+512GB version is priced at Rs 59,999. Both the models will come with introductory prices of Rs 44,999 and Rs 56,999, respectively. The first sale is on August 30th at 12 PM on Flipkart, Realme.com, and retail stores. The Realme Book Slim comes in Real Grey and Real Blue colour options.

The Realme Book Slim touts a metal body design and a 3:2 aspect ratio as opposed to the traditional 16:10 ratio. The laptop features a 14-inch IPS screen with a 2K (2160×1440) resolution and 400 nits peak brightness. The display offers a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and 100 percent sRGB Wide color gamut.

The Realme notebook is powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor and you can buy it with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB PCIe SSD storage. The Realme Book Slim comes with connectivity options like a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and one USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port. The laptop also supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology.

Realme claims the laptop delivers up to 8.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Realme Book Slim houses a 54W battery and supports 65W Super Fast Charge technology that is capable of charging the battery up to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. The laptop also comes with DTS Dual Speakers backed by Harmon/Kardon. The Realme Book Slim is 14.9mm thin, which makes it one of the slimmest laptops in India. It also weighs just 1.38 kg, making it lighter than the MacBook Pro.

The Realme Book Slim runs on Windows 10 and can be upgraded to Windows 11 for free. The laptop comes with a PC Connect feature that lets you control your Realme phone through the laptop. PC Connect allows you to easily transfer files and use mobile applications on the laptop. The Realme Book also comes with a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint power button.
