Realme Buds Air wireless charging support confirmed, compatible with any Qi-standard charger

“Realme Buds Air will come with wireless charging support and will be compatible with any Qi-standard wireless charger”

Realme has scheduled an event in India on December 17th where it will be launching the Realme X2 and Realme Buds Air true wireless earbuds. Ahead of the launch, the company’s India CEO Madhav Sheth has now confirmed that Realme Buds Air will support wireless charging and is compatible with any Qi-standard wireless charger. This is impressive considering the price segment it will be targeting. The Realme Buds Air will be available in Black, White and Yellow colours as previously teased by the company. The now-removed listing on Flipkart suggests that they would cost Rs 4,999 and would come with USB-C charging cable and a user manual.

As for the design, the Realme Buds Air true wireless earbuds have a striking resemblance to the Apple AirPods. It’ll come equipped with Google Assistant support for Android phones and Siri for iOS for hands-free communication and touch controls. Realme Buds Air earbuds are tipped to feature a 12mm Bass boost driver and would arrive with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Realme will also be offering a six-month warranty on the earbuds as well. Unfortunately, the rest of the features of the Realme Buds Air are scarce at the moment.

To build up hype for the launch, Realme is offering Rs 400 discount coupon to users filling the contact details at the ‘notify tab’ on the company’s website and share the activity on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter. The voucher is valid from December 17th to 24th. Alternatively, users buying Realme X2 Pro, Realme XT, Realme 5 Pro, Realme X or Realme X Master Edition between now to December 16th would also get the Rs 400 discount.
