Realme has announced the offline availability of its latest budget-centric smartphone the Realme C2 (review) in India. The handset, which was available online only until now, will be up for grabs from June 15th on 8,000 bricks-and-mortar stores across the country. Notably, only the 2GB RAM + the new 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM variants will go for sale from tomorrow, while 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM will be available starting July. The Realme C2 price starts at Rs 5,999, which goes up to Rs 7,999 depending upon the variant you choose.
Touted as the “Desh ka Real Choice”, Realme C2 boasts a waterdrop notch display, dual rear cameras, a beefy battery, and the latest ColorOS 6 running out of the box. The handset comes in Diamond Blue and Diamond Black colour options.
Realme C2 specifications
For those unaware, the Realme C2 packs a 6.1-inch dewdrop display with HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s driven by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, accompanied by 2GB/3GB and 16GB/ 32GB user expandable storage (with dedicated microSD card), and come preloaded with Android 9 Pie-based on ColorOS 6.0. In optics, there are 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors with f/2.2 aperture lens and LED flash at the back. The front camera features a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with facial recognition. The entire setup is run by a whopping 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Realme C2 measures 154.3 x 73.7 x 8.5mm.
