The Realme C21Y budget smartphone will launch in India next week as an upgrade over the C21 model, the company has announced. The Realme C21Y India launch date is August 23rd, with the brand only mentioning that it will be available via the official site. However, we can expect it to be released via either Amazon or Flipkart, or maybe even both, as well as offline stores. In a press note, the brand has mentioned a powerful processor for gaming, massive battery, camera with Super Nightscape Mode, fingerprint unlock, immersive display, and geometric art design. However, we already know the full Realme C21Y specifications as the smartphone launched in Vietnam last month.

The Realme C21Y specifications include a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) display with 89.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and waterdrop notch. It is powered by the Spreadtrum UNISOC T610 processor with 3GB and 4GB RAM options. You get 32GB internal storage as well as microSD card support for storage expansion up to 256GB. Realme UI based on Android 11 is part of the package too, along with a physical fingerprint sensor located on the back.
On the back, Realme C21Y sports a triple camera system with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP monochrome lens. It also has a 5MP AI selfie camera. Photography is boosted by software features such as Night Mode, Panoramic view, Ultra macro, AI Beauty, Beauty Mode, HDR, and Face-Recognition. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports reverse charging. Key connectivity features on the phone include dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, microUSB, and a 3.5mm jack.
