Realme GT 2 has been launched in India silently without much hype. The handset comes as a successor to the Realme GT and as a slightly cheaper alternative to the Realme GT 2 Pro that landed in India earlier this month. It was originally launched in China at the start of the year and was later unveiled globally at the MWC 2022 show. The phone has a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a rectangular module to house triple sensors, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Realme GT 2 price in India is Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs 38,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version. It comes in Paper Green, Paper White, and Stainless Black colour options. The company is offering a Rs 5,000 instant discount with credit and debit cards and EMI transactions. The first sale is on April 28th at 12 PM IST and can be purchased through the Realme website and Flipkart.

Realme GT 2 sports a 6.62-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 1300nits peak brightness, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 92.6 percent screen to body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer for protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The SoC is aided by 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.

In the camera department, the Realme GT 2 has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, f/1.8 aperture, 6P lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
