Realme GT 2 series launch date confirmed

As seen in the official launch invite poster above, the Realme GT 2 series devices will make their world debut on January 4th. The official press release also mentions that the devices will launch in China on the same day. So in just a few days, we would get to know each and every detail about the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro flagship phones. Speaking of, little is known about the vanilla variant in the lineup. Even though we have already spotted the device on the company’s Indian website, we don’t know much about its specifications and features. That, however, is not the case with the Pro variant, as 91mobiles has already exclusively leaked its renders and key specifications.

Realme GT 2 Pro specifications, design

Starting with the display of the device, the Realme GT 2 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch QHD+ flat AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. For photography, the Realme GT 2 Pro will sport a triple rear camera setup – 50MP + 50MP + 8MP and a 32MP selfie snapper. Lastly, the device will sport a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

We have shown you the design of the Realme GT 2 Pro through an exclusive render. It seems the phone will tout a rear camera visor similar to the one seen on the old Nexus 6P. The company revealed just a few days ago that the Realme GT 2 Pro uses environmentally friendly materials, including a bio-polymer material for the rear panel.
