Realme has confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the GT 5 Pro, will launch in November. The launch date hasn’t been revealed yet but it’s expected to debut by the end of this month. Realme GT 5 Pro is also confirmed to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Realme made the announcement for the GT 5 Pro launch on Weibo. The smartphone will debut in China, and it’s expected to expand in more countries later. Realme is expected to livestream the launch event. More details with the exact launch date should be out very soon.
Realme GT 5 Pro: what we know so far
There have been several leaks and sightings of the Realme GT 5 Pro on benchmarking websites. One that’s confirmed is the chipset, which is the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This would also make the Realme GT 5 Pro the third smartphone to feature this flagship chipset. So far, the Xiaomi 14 series and the iQOO 12 series have launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

- Display: Realme GT 5 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
- Cameras: It’s rumoured to feature a Sony LYT-T808 50MP primary camera with OIS, an OmniVision OV0810 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, the Realme GT 5 Pro could house a 32MP front camera.
- RAM and storage: The smartphone is also tipped to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
- Battery, charging: Realme GT 5 Pro could pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging support, and 50W wireless charging support.
- Software: On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 14 with Realme UI 5 layered on top.
