Realme GT 7 confirmed to launch with MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset

The Realme GT 7 series is set to launch globally and in India on May 27th, featuring two models: the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T. Realme has been gradually revealing key details about the lineup and has now confirmed the chipset. The Realme GT 7 will debut as the first smartphone powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. 

Realme GT 7 chipset details

  • Realme today announced that the GT 7 will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. 
  • This chipset features four Cortex-X4 super cores with clock speeds of up to 3.4GHz, and four Cortex-A720 big cores with clock speeds of 2.0GHz. It’s equipped with the Immortalis-G720.
  • MediaTek says that the Dimensity 9400e is finetuned for gaming enthusiasts and capable of enabling generative AI applications. 
  • Speaking of which, the Realme GT 7 is being teased as a performance-focused smartphone having scored over 2.45 million in the AnTuTu benchmark. 
  • It features the in-house GT Boost technology, which is said to be a next-gen frame-by-frame workload prediction engine that enables 120 FPS sustained gaming across 20 of the most popular mobile games. 
  • Realme also says the GT 7 is designed to offer ultra-smooth gameplay with lower power consumption and enhanced thermal management.

Realme GT 7: what we know so far

  • The Realme GT 7 series will feature a large 7,000mAh battery. This is a significant upgrade over the Realme GT 6‘s 5,500mAh battery. Users can expect a much longer battery life with the Realme GT 7. 
  • The smartphone is also confirmed to support 120W fast wired charging like the Realme GT 6. While it’s not an upgrade, it still ranks among the fastest charging speeds available on smartphones.
  • The Realme GT 7 will feature a graphene-based IceSense design, which is said to offer 360-degree ultra-efficient heat dissipation for peak performance.
  • The phone will also feature a new ‘Skin-Touch Temperature Control‘ design, which adapts to ambient conditions to keep the surface cool in heat and warm in cold conditions.
  • The Realme GT 7 will be available in IceSense Blue and IceSense Black colours.

As mentioned above, the Realme GT 7 series will launch in India the same time as its global debut. Here, the Realme GT 7 will succeed the Realme GT 6, and the Realme GT 7T will succeed the Realme GT 6T.
