Realme GT 7, GT 7 Dream Edition and Realme GT 7T launched in India: prices, specifications

The Realme GT 7 series has officially launched in India, featuring the standard Realme GT 7, Realme GT 7 Dream Edition and the Realme GT 7T. These premium smartphones are designed to deliver high-end performance, with a focus on gaming and AI capabilities. Both models boast a large 7,000mAh battery, 120W fast charging, an FHD+ AMOLED display, and run on Android 15. The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition has been developed in collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One team.

Realme GT 7 and GT 7T prices in India, sale

Realme GT 7 price in India starts at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB.
The handset comes in two colours: IceSense Black and IceSense Blue.
The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition comes in 16GB + 512GB and is priced at Rs 49,999.
Meanwhile, the Realme GT 7T price starts at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 256GB
The phone arrives in IceSense Blue, IceSense Black, and IceSense Yellow colours.
The Realme GT 7 and GT 7T will be on sale via Amazon and the Realme website from May 30th onwards with pre-booking starting today. The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition will be available on June 13th.
Realme is offering bank discounts of Rs 3,000 and exchange offers up to Rs 6,000 on the GT 7 and GT 7T. The Dream Edition is available with extra screen damage protection for one year during first sale.

Realme GT 7 specifications, features

Display: The Realme GT 7 flaunts a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2,780 X 1,264 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 1.07 billion colours, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Processor: It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, which, as the name indicates, is a variant in the Dimensity 9400 family and should offer good performance.

Memory: 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage.
OS: Android 15-based Realme UI 6 OS out of the box. It gets AI features like AI Planner, AI Screen Recognition, AI Travel Snap camera, AI Translator and more.
Cameras: The new Realme phone features a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, a 50MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, making this a versatile setup. It gets a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies.
Battery: Keeping the lights on is a large 7,000mAh Titan battery with 120W fast charging. There’s bypass charging support, which draws power directly from the charger instead of the battery when the charger is connected. This keeps the device from heating.
Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, 360-degree NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
Others: Corning Gorilla Glass 7i layer, IP69 water and dust resistance, SignalCatcher chip, Rainwater Touch, graphene layer for heat dissipation, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Realme GT 7 Dream Edition

The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition retains similar specifications, except that it gets a 16GB + 512GB storage variant. The special edition model features custom icons, wallpaper, special boot-up animation, and GT Mode Dynamic effects. The images clicked from the Dream Edition will have the “Aston Martin Amarco F1 Team Edition” exclusive watermark.

The special edition model has a unique design, with Aerodynamic Flow Lines and the Aston Martin “Silver Wing” emblem. The special edition box package includes the F1 racecar SIM card pin, and “Silver Wing” phone case.

Display: The Realme GT 7T has a slightly bigger 6.80-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 2,800 X 1,280 pixels resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Chipset: Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Max chipset paired with Mali-G720 MC7 for graphics.

Memory: The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
OS: Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0 custom skin.
Cameras: The GT 7T model gets a 50MP Sony IMX896 camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies.
Battery: It packs a 7,000mAh Titan battery with 120W fast charging support.
Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, 360-degree NFC, Bluetooth 6.0 Low Energy, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The Realme GT 7 succeeds the Realme GT 6 and brings some notable improvements.

Processor: The major change on the Realme GT 7 is the chipset. We now get the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
Cameras: We now get a 50MP Sony IMX906 camera compared to a 50MP Sony LYT-808 lens.
Battery: There is now a large 7,000mAh battery compared to a 5,500mAh cell on the Realme GT 6 Pro. The fast charging is now 120W, up from 100W.
IP rating: The phone gets an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance compared to an IP65 rating.

Display: The Realme GT 7T gets a 6.80-inch display compared to a 6.78-inch panel on the Realme GT 6T from last year.
Processor: The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is replaced with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Max chipset.
Battery: The Realme GT 7T gets a large 7,000mAh cell compared to the 5,500mAh battery on the predecessor.
Cameras: We now get a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary camera, compared to the Sony LYT-600 sensor.
