Over the past few weeks, the rumour mill had been flush with talks about the Realme GT Master Edition. We found out quite a lot about the Realme GT Master Edition design, specifications, and even price thanks to a slew of leaks. It shouldn’t be long before we know for sure, as the Relame GT Master Edition launch date is set for July 21st. While it is somewhat ambiguously named, it is quite certain that the Relame GT Master Edition is a scaled-down version of the Realme GT; the phone will be accompanied by the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition at the event. Here’s everything we know about the phone so far.
Realme GT Master Edition launch date
The Realme GT will be launched in China on July 21st at 14:00 local time (16:30 IST). Given that it is a China-only launch, it will not be streamed (officially, at least) on YouTube. However, we will be sure to cover the launch in real-time, so watch this space. That said, it is unlikely Realme GT Master Edition will be launched in India just yet, so we may have to wait a while before seeing it in action.
Realme GT Master Edition price
Realme GT Master Edition price is said to start at €399 (approx. Rs 35,300) for the entry-level variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage version. Bumping that up to 12GB and 256GB will set you back by €449 (approx. Rs 39,700). There is no telling what the Realme GT Master Edition price in India could be just yet.
Realme GT Master Edition specifications
Based on what we know so far, Realme GT Master Edition specifications are expected to include a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel clocked at 120Hz. It will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC. The smartphone will allegedly draw power from a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
Moving on to optics, the Realme GT Master Edition is expected to feature a 64MP primary sensor, along with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor, for some reason. Once again, there is a conflicting report which states that the smartphone will employ a 108MP primary sensor. However, the chances of that happening are next to zero, given that it would out-spec the vanilla Realme GT.
Realme GT Master Explorer Edition specifications
As we mentioned above, Realme is also working on a second Master Edition variant called the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. It is, for the most part, identical to the Realme GT Master Edition, but packs the more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and a 3D Vegan Leather body. It is unclear if the remaining Realme GT Master Explorer Edition specs are identical to the other variant, but we should know soon.
