Realme GT Neo 2T has been finally launched in China. It comes just around a month after the standard Realme GT Neo 2 was unveiled and is a cheaper alternative to the standard model. The new Realme phone ships with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 870 chipset and a smaller 4,500mAh battery against a 5,000mAh capacity unit on the original GT Neo 2. The phone ships with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and a triple camera layout on the back. Key specifications include a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, 64MP primary camera, and Android 11 OS. Realme has also launched the Watch T1 on the same stage.
Realme GT Neo 2T price
Realme GT Neo 2T price starts at RMB 2,099 (Rs 24,600 approx.) for the 8GB + 128GB model, RMB 2,299 (approx Rs 26,900) for the 8GB + 256GB version and RMB 2599 (around Rs 30,400) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. However, the company is offering an RMB 200 discount for the first sale. This brings down the price to RMB 1899 (around Rs 22,300), RMB 2099 (approx Rs 24,600), and RMB 2399 (around Rs 28,100), respectively. The phone will be up for pre-orders in China from October 20th and will be on sale from November 1st. The Realme T1 smartwatch costs RMB 699 (around Rs 8,200) and comes in Black Mint, Olive Green and Vitality Black colour options.
Realme GT Neo 2T specifications
Realme GT Neo 2T sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300nits peak brightness. The phone has triple cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 4cm macro sensor. It has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone is equipped with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res audio, Stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. There’s 3D vapour cooling to dissipate heat during gaming sessions.
The Realme GT Neo 2T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC. In comparison, the standard Realme GT Neo 2 is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. It packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 native storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. There’s support for up to 7GB Dynamic RAM expansion that uses a portion of internal storage as RAM. The phone runs on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box. There is a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. The phone measures 158.5×73.3×8.4mm and weighs 186 grams.
Realme Watch T1 specifications
On the same stage, Realme Watch T1 has been launched officially. It sports a 1.3-inch HD AMOLED display with a circular dial, 325 PPI, and a 50Hz refresh rate. There’s support for 50 watch faces and 5 ATM water resistance. It can track 110 sports modes, heart rate, and SpO2 (blood-oxygen). The smartwatch connects magnetically to charge and there’s NFC support as well. It has Corning Gorilla Glass layer for protection and stainless steel bezel. The smartwatch supports Bluetooth calls and lets one control music playback as well. It can track sleep and stress levels.
The Realme Watch T1 has 4GB storage for music storage and it offers social media notifications, weather updates, DND mode, a remote camera, flashlight, among others. It packs a 228mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 7 days. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, The smartwatch comes with connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, inbuilt GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and Beidou.
