Realme GT Neo 3 variant with 5,000mAh battery, 80W charging coming

Yesterday, Realme’s China VP Xu Qi Chase teased the battery details of a new Realme GT Neo 3 variant via Webio post. The post shared numbers 80, 5000, 188, which hits 80W fast charging, a 5,000mAh battery, and a 188g body weight. Previously, the company also confirmed that Realme GT Neo 3 would come with its all-new 150W UltraDart charging technology. This indicates that there will be two Realme GT Neo 3 models, one with a 4,500mAh battery and 150W charging, and one with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W charging. Usually, the global variant with lower charge speeds than the Chinese variant. So, Realme could launch the 80W charging unit globally, and the 150W charging unit would be China-exclusive.

As previously mentioned, Realme GT Neo 3 has a 6.7-inch, whose 10-bit AMOLED panel supports HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is confirmed to debut with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. Realme GT Neo 3 packs up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, further expandable via a microSD card slot.

As for the cameras, Realme GT Neo 3 flaunts a triple camera setup at the rear, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, which is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. Realme GT Neo 3 has a 16MP selfie snapper on the front. It will likely boot Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 custom skin out of the box.
