Realme is rumoured to be working on a new GT Neo-series phone, called the Realme GT Neo 5. The device is said to break a record in fast charging by going all the way up to 240W. Now, while we wait for the announcement, alleged Realme GT Neo 5 high-quality renders have surfaced online, courtesy of Smartprix in association with tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks. For now, we only get to see the rear design of the phone but we can speculate the front would have slim bezels and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, as is the case with most premium smartphones today.

The render shows Realme GT Neo 5 would come with a POCO-inspired large camera island on the top portion of the phone and this houses two circular rings. While the top ring has a single camera, the bottom one has two lenses. There is an LED flash and “MATRIX AI CAMERA” text engraved. We can see the phone in White colour but there could be other colour options at launch.

The Realme GT Neo 5 has slightly curved edges, with a metal frame. As we said earlier, the front design is still under wraps. A single power button can be seen on the right, which means the volume keys should be on the left.

Realme GT Neo 5 is said to arrive in two versions: one with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC and 240W fast charging and the other with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and 150W charging speed. As for the cameras, rumours point out that we will be looking at a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP sensor, which could be for decorative purposes. There will be a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
