The MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC powers the smartphone, which makes the Narzo 70 5G a powerful performer for its price. Today, we’ll be comparing the Realme Narzo 70 5G with the Redmi Note 13 5G, which is another popular smartphone in this price segment to find out which smartphone offers better performance, based on benchmark tests and gaming.

Geekbench

The Geekbench test is used to evaluate the CPU performance of a smartphone. The Realme Narzo 70 scored 955 in the single-core test and 2,349 in the multi-core test, while the Redmi Note 13 logged 737 in the single-core test and 1905 in the multi-core test.

These results suggest that the Realme Narzo 70 should provide better performance in both single-core tasks, such as gaming and web browsing, as well as in multi-core tasks, including video recording, editing, and multitasking.

AnTuTu

The AnTuTu benchmark assesses a smartphone’s overall performance, including aspects like CPU, GPU, Memory (RAM+ROM) and US (user experience). It then registers an overall score for the smartphone by averaging these metrics.

The Realme Narzo 70 registered an aggregated score of 5,84,952 in the test while the Redmi Note 13 registered an aggregate score of 4,53,830. The Narzo 70 scores especially well in aspects like GPU performance and user experience compared to the Note 13.

Throttling test

To test the performance output of both smartphones under throttling, we used the Burnout benchmark app. The Realme Narzo 70 offered a performance output of 76.1 percent when throttling, compared to the 59.8 percent performance output of the Redmi Note 13 under throttling. The result suggests that the Narzo 70 Pro should offer better performance under extreme stress.

Gaming test

The Realme Narzo 70 5G is a more capable gaming machine as it can support higher graphical settings on some moderately demanding games, such as BGMI and COD: Mobile, compared to the Redmi Note 13 5G. The smartphone also offers better thermal management, with a temperature increase of just 7.6 degrees C compared to the 9 degrees C on the Redmi Note 13.

The Realme Narzo 70 5G comes across as the better performer compared to the Redmi Note 13 5G, going by these benchmark scores. If your main priority lies in a smartphone’s performance, the Realme Narzo 70 5G is a good option at its price range. 

In comparison, the Redmi Note 13 is a more balanced device, and comes in higher RAM and storage variants compared to the Realme Narzo 70. It also offers a more comprehensive rear camera setup, with an 108MP primary lens, which takes great daylight images. So if camera quality is important, the Redmi Note 13 could be worth considering.
