Highlights
  • Realme Pad 3 will come as a successor to the Realme Pad 2.
  • The Camera-FV 5 listing has revealed the camera details of the tablet.
  • Realme Pad 3 was previously spotted on the IMEI database

A new Realme Pad seems to be on the verge of launching in India as it has now received the BIS certification, exclusively spotted by 91mobiles. The tablet in question is speculated to be the Realme Pad 3 and we were able to spot it on the Camera-FV 5 certification as well. To recall, the Realme Pad 2 debuted in July 2023, which means the company has taken over a year to bring out the successor.

Realme Pad 3 India launch expected soon

  • The Realme Pad 3 BIS certification listing shows the model number ‘RMP2402’.
  • The brand mentioned is ‘Realme’ and is placed under the tablet category.
Realme-Pad-3
  • BIS certification is mandatory for any electronic product to debut in the country. This is a good indication to believe that the launch of the Realme Pad 3 in India might be nearing.
  • However, the listing doesn’t reveal any hardware details about the tablet at the moment.

The Realme Pad 3 has been spotted on the Camera-FV 5 certification and this reveals the camera details. As per the listing, the tablet will have an 8MP shooter on the back with a maximum picture resolution of 3264×2448, 2.8mm focal length, and f/2.0 aperture. There is no OIS or EIS stabilisation support on board. Moving to the front, the listing shows the tablet will have a 5MP shooter for video calls and f/2.2 aperture.

Previously, the Realme tablet with the same model number appeared on the IMEI database, which means there could be a variant with cellular network support. However, this listing doesn’t reveal any details of the tablet either but we are inclined to believe the Realme Pad 3 will be in the same range as the Pad 2, both hardware and price-wise.

To recall, the Realme Pad 2 shipped with an 11.5-inch 2K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2. There was an 8MP shooter on the back and the front. This means the successor is seeing a slight downgrade in the front camera department. There is an 8360mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Realme Pad LTE version launched at Rs 19,999, while the Wi-Fi-only model costs Rs 15,999.
