Realme Pad Mini has officially been launched in the Philippines after being teased late last month. It is an affordable version of the original Realme Pad from last year and is expected to debut soon in India as well. It is available in two RAM and storage options, in Grey and Blue colours.

The tablet has a familiar design, with thick bezels on the front to hold it comfortably. It has squared edges and a boxy design similar to most phones and tablets these days. The Realme Pad Mini has a tiny square module on the back to the house the single 8MP snapper and there’s no fingerprint authentication for security. Key specifications include an 8.7-inch display, Unisoc T616 chipset, 6400mAh battery and 64GB internal storage.

Realme Pad Mini price

The Realme Pad Mini goes on sale in the Philippines today and is currently priced at a discounted offer of Php 8,490 (around Rs 12,500) for the 3GB+32GB model, which normally costs Php 9,990. Similarly, the 4GB+64GB variant is currently available for Php 9,900 (around Rs 14,700), down from its original price of Php 11,990. Comparatively, the 3/32 GB Realme Pad costs Php 10,990.

Realme Pad Mini sports an 8.7-inch WUXGA+ LCD display with a 1340×800 pixels resolution and 84.59 percent screen-to-body ratio. The tablet has thick bezels above and below the screen. It comes in a plastic build, measures 211.8×124.5×7.6mm and weighs 372 grams. The tablet is powered by a Unisoc T616 octa-core 12nm chipset paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. The tablet comes in two configurations: 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB storage, which is further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.

The Realme Pad Mini runs Android 11 based Realme UI custom skin out of the box. It would have been better had Realme launched it with Android 12 OS instead. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. It is equipped with dual speakers and a single microphone.

The Realme Pad Mini packs a 6,400mAh battery with 18W fast charging and reverse charging support. It has a single 8MP primary camera on the back and a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
