- Realme Q3 series launch has been officially teased by the brand
- The lineup will offer a “balance of performance and price”
- Realme Q3 will come as a successor to the Realme Q2 lineup from last year
Realme Q3 series launch is right around the corner, as confirmed by the young brand on Weibo earlier today. This comes after the brand had introduced the Realme Q and Q2 lineup last year. While the company hasn’t revealed much about the upcoming phones just yet, Realme Vice President Wang Wei Derek on the Chinese social media platform has mentioned the upcoming Realme Q3 series may not be as powerful as the Realme GT series, but will still offer a “balance of performance and price.” This means to suggest the Realme Q3 series will have varied products placed at different price points, ranging from budget to mid-range. According to the executive, Realme GT is a hit thanks to its premium specifications and great performance at a cheaper price compared to other flagships.
The top executive has further added that the company is aiming to cater to everyone’s expectations by launching a combination of both the Realme GT and Q product lines. While the former will target high-end premium segments, the latter will focus on budget and mid-range category. We can expect the brand to introduce the Realme Q series in India as well down the lane but probably under different branding.
Additionally, the poster image claims that Realme Q2 sold over 1 million devices since its launch. To recall, the Realme Q2 series includes three models: Q2i 5G, Q2 5G and Q2 Pro 5G. We can speculate the Q3 series may also have multiple variants, including an entry-level model with 5G network connectivity. Unfortunately, the Realme Q3 specifications and other details remain under wraps, for now, but we should learn more information soon.
