- Realme MRX2121 brings a revamped camera layout, which has been a long-requested makeover by fans
- The handset is expected to ship with a 6.5-inch display, 5G connectivity and Android 10 OS
A mysterious Realme phone with model number RMX2121 has appeared on TENAA certification with complete specifications and images. Firstly, this reveals a revamped camera module, which has been long requested by Realme fans, and it has 5G connectivity. While the exact identity of the phone is unknown at the moment, it could be a mid-range offering from the brand and may find its way to the Indian market down the lane.
Realme RMX2121 design
Realme RMX2121 has a rectangular camera module, which has become a trend on many popular phones these days. The front has a single punch-hole cutout placed at the top right corner to house the selfie snapper. The power button is present on the right spine, while the volume rockers are on the left edge. Since there is no cutout for the fingerprint sensor at the back or on the sides, it could be placed within the display, meaning it could have an AMOLED screen.
Realme RMX2121 specifications
According to the TENAA listing, the Realme RMX2121 will sport a 6.5-inch display and measure 160.8 x 75.2 x 8.5mm. The battery capacity listed is 2,200mAh, but it could be a dual-cell battery. While it runs on Android OS, the exact version number isn’t revealed but we can speculate it could be Android 10 with Realme UI custom layer on top. Unfortunately, the TENAA listing doesn’t reveal much else about the Realme RMX2121 phone at the moment. Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth recently confirmed the brand would bring a phone with new camera layout as early as next month, so there’s a possibility this could be it. We should learn more details going forward.
