A mysterious Realme device whose specifications surfaced on TENAA a couple of days back has resurfaced yet again, this time showing off its design via some leaked images. The spec sheet hints at a budget or mid-range 5G phone from Realme, likely to be part of the V or Q series line-up in China. The new device from Realme carries a model number RMX3125 has been tipped to be running made-to-cost hardware but with 5G capabilities. The processor on the Realme RMX3125 is clocked at 2.4GHz. Realme RMX3125 design

The Realme RMX3125 measures 163.9 x 75.7 x 8.4mm in dimensions and the handset weighs 189 grams. The new images (seen above) that have surfaced on TENAA now reveal some design specifics of the new 5G device from Realme. The TENAA images show a slab like design with a teardrop notch style display upfront. On the back, we see a rounded rectangle housing the camera module and textured back panel design. The left-hand side of the frame will be housing the volume rockers while the right-hand side of the frame will be the host to the power button doubling up to be a fingerprint sensor. Being a product on the lower end of the market, the Realme RMX3125 is expected to come in multiple colour options. 

Realme RMX3125 specifications

The Realme RMX3125 is slated to be a 5G device on a budget and will draw power from a chipset that is 5G ready. TENAA’s spotting shows that the device will run a 2.4GHz octa-core processor and will be coupled with multiple RAM options up to 8GB of RAM. Built-in storage will also see multiple variants and will go up to 256GB. The device will also support expandable memory via a micro-SD card slot. 

The camera department is handled by a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13MP and 2MP shooter. The camera unit will also house an LED flash. The device will run on a skin from Realme on top of Android 11. The device will suck the juice from a 4,990mAh (which should be marketed as 5,000mAh) battery and is capable of 18W fast charging. The product name or launch details haven’t been disclosed yet.
