Realme Smartwatch teased in the latest episode of ‘Ask Madhav’

“Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth is seen sporting the Realme Smartwatch during the latest Q&A episode on YouTube”

Realme Smartwatch is expected to be the next smart wearable product from the brand, and we got our first look at its design in the latest Ask Madhav episode. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth is seen sporting the Realme Smartwatch during the latest Q&A episode on YouTube. The upcoming smartwatch will feature a square-shaped design much like the Apple Watch. It will feature a black or space grey body along with black silicone straps. That’s pretty much all we can speculate based on the teaser. During the episode, the display of the Realme Smartwatch never lights up, so it’s hard to say just how big the screen will look and how bezel-less the design really is.

Realme Smartwatch first look

As you can see from the video above, Realme India CEO can be seen wearing the Realme Smartwatch throughout the episode. Around the 5:27 minute mark, Sheth very briefly talks about the Realme Smartwatch, pointing to the product on his wrists and confirming that the smartwatch will launch soon. We still don’t have an exact Realme Smartwatch launch date yet, but we hope to hear more about it soon.

Realme has announced that it is postponing all upcoming product launches starting with the Realme Narzo series due to the 21-day lockdown in India to curb the spread of coronavirus. With the launch of the Narzo 10 series delayed, it may be a while before Realme announces when it will be launching the Realme Smartwatch. There is a possibility that the company launches the smartwatch alongside the Narzo 10 after the lockdown period ends on April 14th.

Not much is known about the Realme Smartwatch in terms of specifications and features. It is likely to be an affordable watch to take on the likes of Apple Watch and Honor Magic Watch 2. The company may offer features like sleep tracking and continuous heart rate monitoring, which are features seen on the Realme Band as well. The company has already launched a companion app for its wearables, called Realme Link, through which users can track their fitness data and update their devices.
