Realme X 256GB storage variant has just been launched in the brand’s home market of China. The phone has been made official, soon after the device appeared on the Chinese certification agency TENAA. The new Realme X variant comes with 8GB of RAM. Earlier, the smartphone was launched in three variants – 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB, and 8GB + 128GB. In India, the Realme X was launched in two configurations – 4GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The new variant has been priced at RMB 1,999, which roughly translates to Rs 20,150. The handset is currently available to pre-order on the brand’s e-store, Jingdong Mall, Tmall, and Suning.

The Realme X price in India is Rs 16,999 for the base 4GB / 128GB model, and Rs 19,999 for the top-end 8GB / 128GB variant. There’s no word if the brand will be launching the 256GB model in the Indian market.
Realme X specifications
The Realme X is the brand’s first smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera, a full-screen design, and a 48MP primary camera at the rear. The phone has a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display, and it boots Color OS 6.0 based on Android Pie. Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. At the rear, the handset has a 48MP Sony IMX586 main camera, accompanied by a 5MP secondary snapper. For selfies, there’s a 16MP shooter that comes out of the top in the middle whenever required.
The Realme X comes with connectivity options including 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and A-GPS. A 3,765mAh battery with fast charging support and an in-display fingerprint sensor complete the list of the specifications. The handset is available in two hues in India including Onion and Garlic editions.
