The Realme X2 Pro smartphone will officially be unveiled at an event in Madrid, Spain on October 15th. The handset has been among the most-anticipated for all the right reasons. The Realme X2 Pro, as you may know, will pack most powerful Qualcomm chipset till date Snapdragon 855 Plus, an AMOLED screen, and a 64MP quad-camera with a telephoto lens. The handset could be the cheapest smartphone with a 90Hz refresh rate display. Other major highlights include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 50W fast charging support.
Realme is slated to introduce the Realme X2 Pro in Asia and Europe simultaneously, but we’re yet to hear about the Asia launch event. In addition to this, the company will be introducing its Realme 5 Pro and Realme X2 (a re-branded version of Realme XT) smartphones in the European market on the same day.

The Realme X2 Pro will be flagship offering from the brand. The handset will rock the gaming-centric Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC that offers higher clock speed and better graphics performance compared to the regular Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Realme X2 Pro is expected to feature 6.55-inch ‘Fluid’ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and support system-wide dark theme. For photography, the phone will most likely feature the same camera setup as the Realme XT/ X2 except for the macro lens, which will be replaced with a telephoto lens with 20x hybrid zoom. The ultra-wide-angle lens that offers a 115-degree field-of-view will capture 2.5mm macro shots.
The Realme X2 Pro is also said to feature an impressive 50W Super VOOC fast-charging tech that can juice up the device in no time. Software-wise, the phone is expected to boot ColorOS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie out of the box. Apart from this, the handset is tipped to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, waterdrop-notch, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
