“The Realme X2 Pro could be the cheapest smartphone with 90Hz refresh rate screen”
The Realme X2 Pro India launch has been scheduled for December, the company announced. The Realme X2 Pro will be the company’s first true flagship offering and is set to be launched globally on October 15th in Spain as well as China. The handset is expected to be the most affordable smartphone with Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform and has been confirmed to feature 90Hz Fluid AMOLED screen. It will compete against the likes of the Redmi K20 Pro smartphone, which packs Snapdragon 855 SoC and LCD panel. The Realme X2 Pro will also feature 64MP quad-rear cameras with 20x zoom, dual stereo speakers aided by Dolby Atmos, and the latest 50W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The tech is rated to top up the phone from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes.

Realme X2 Pro specifications
Based on leaks and several teasers, the Realme X2 Pro will sport a 6.55-inch ‘Fluid’ AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and waterdrop-notch up top. The screen will also bear in-display fingerprint scanner and 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth experience. The phone will rock Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, which is touted as gaming-centric silicon with higher clock speed and performance compared to the regular Snapdragon 855 chipset. The handset will most likely come preloaded with Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6 out of the box to take care of the software side of things.
For photography, the Realme X2 Pro is expected to sport the similar quad-camera setup at the back as its younger sibling Realme XT – save for the macro lens. This will be replaced by a telephoto that is said to offer a 20X hybrid zoom. The phone will have 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor, depth-sensing unit, and ultra-wide-angle-lens with 115-degree field of view. The front camera setup might have a 32-megapixel selfie snapper. The cameras are tipped to be backed by Nightscape 2.0 for low-light photography, improved image stabilisation algorithm, and real-time bokeh in videos.
As far as the battery goes, the Realme X2 Pro may ship with 4,000mAh cell. The phone is also expected to feature USB Type-C, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi. The Realme X2 Pro price in India is likely to be below Rs 37,000 – if it has to be the cheapest smartphone with 90Hz display.
