Realme X2 Pro has finally launched in China as the company’s first true flagship. It comes with best-in-class specifications and is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, packs a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, and runs on a 4,000mAh battery. The Realme X2 Pro features a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view, a 2MP depth unit, and a 13MP telephoto lens with 20x hybrid and 5x hybrid optical zoom. The handset supports 50W fast-charging support, among the highest in the smartphone industry.
Realme X2 Pro price
Realme X2 Pro price is RMB 2,699 (around Rs 27,200) for the 6GB + 64GB model. On the other hand, the prices of the 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants are RMB 2,899 (around Rs 29,200) and RMB 3,299 (around Rs 33,300), respectively. Lastly, there’s the Realme X2 Pro Master Edition, which is priced at RMB 3,299 (around Rs 33,300). The handset will be up for pre-orders later today and will go on sale in China starting October 18th. However, Realme is offering RMB 100 discount during the first sale on October 18th. The smartphone will be available in Ocean Blue and Midnight Silver colours.
Realme X2 Pro specifications
Realme X2 Pro flaunts a 6.5-inch Fluid AMOLED TÜV Rheinland Full Care display with 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR 10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer. It is powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with Adreno 640 GPU. It comes in three variants: 6GB + 64GB, 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB onboard storage that is further expandable via microSD card. Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 custom skin takes care of the software side of things. The smartphone comes with liquid cooling and Tactile Linear Motor for better haptics during gaming sessions.
The Realme X2 Pro Master Edition has been created by renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa and comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also features a Lacquered Glass back and is claimed to have been put through 32 different sand tests.
In terms of optics, Realme X2 Pro packs quad-camera setup with a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor, a 13MP telephoto lens with 20x hybrid zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 115-degree field of view and is capable of capturing 2.5mm macro shots and lastly, a 2MP depth unit for portrait shots. It can record 4K 60fps videos and 960fps slow-motion as well. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie snapper accommodate in the waterdrop notch.
There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security. Realme X2 Pro comes with features like dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and system-wide dark theme. A 4,000mAh battery with 50W fast-charging support fuels the handset. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and GPS.
