“Realme UI is the latest custom skin for Realme phones that runs atop Android 10”
Realme UI, which was announced last month, is now open for early beta users. Realme is inviting Realme X2 users to enrol themselves for its Android 10-based custom skin, which will start rolling out soon. Through the beta program, Realme X2 users will have an early access to Realme UI so that they can report bugs and give “meaningful” feedback to improve the overall user experience. Realme UI, for those unaware, is the brand’s own custom skin as it moves away from ColorOS. Realme UI features include a redesigned UI, new app icons, and a cleaner interface with less reduced bloatware to offer a near stock-Android experience.
How to enrol for Realme X2 Realme UI beta program
The Realme UI beta program, as stated above, is open for Realme X2 users at the moment. To enrol for the program, you must be in India, have an age of not less than 18 years, provable experience in OS Beta testing, and willing to share your personal details such as Aadhaar or other forms of identification proof. You’ll also be to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), which if infringed will trigger legal action.
The window for the Realme UI beta program registration will open on January 20th and closes on January 27th, 2020. Realme will contact successful candidates via email and the final list of Beta testers (realme Community username) will be announced on February 1s, 2020. The Realme UI beta update will start rolling out from the first week of February.
Notably, Realme is slated to roll out Realme UI update to Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT later this month. This will be followed by Realme X and Realme 5 Pro in February and other compatible smartphones in the subsequent months.
