“Realme RMX1931 is expected to come with a 6.55-inch full-HD+ display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and run on ColorOS 6.1 software”
Realme X2Pro might be the name of the brand’s upcoming flagship if the latest developments on the Internet are anything to go by. To recall, Realme was one of the first brands to confirm that it would launch a Snapdragon 855 Plus powered smartphone back in July. Now, months later, Realme China’s product Director Wang Wei Derek has been spotted using Realme X2Pro for posting on Weibo, thereby creating speculations that ‘Realme X2Pro’ could be the name of the Snapdragon 855 Plus powered flagship. In another Weibo post, Derek has asked users to the guess the price of the Snapdragon 855 Plus powered 4G, and in response to one of his follower’s comment, the executive teased that the phone might cost around RMB 4000 (around Rs 39,700).
Separately, Realme CMO Xu Qi has confirmed the Snapdragon 855+ powered smartphone will have a codename ‘Super Samurai,’ and said that it’s coming soon. Recently, a mysterious Realme phone with model number RMX1931 had received Bluetooth SIG certifications. The listing suggests the Realme RMX1931 would be powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor, which is the clock speed of Snapdragon 855 SoC which is a bit confusing since Snapdragon 855 Plus comes with a clock speed of 2.96GHz.
Furthermore, the handset packs a 6.55-inch full HD+ display, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and ColorOS 6.1 software, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi. Since the handset received the Bureau of Indian Standards, it is also expected to release in India, presumably in December when it launches the Realme XT 730G smartphone.
Separately, the Realme X2 smartphone was recently unveiled in China. The handset flaunts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer. The handset is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with Adreno 618 GPU. It is available in two variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It comes with quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64MP primary sensor.
