“Realme X50 5G is confirmed to come with Snapdragon 765G SoC, dual-mode 5G support, and VOOC 4.0 fast-charging support”
Realme X50 5G is all set to launch in China on January 7th alongside the Realme X50 Youth Edition. After teasing the VOOC 4.0 Flash charge and confirming the Snapdragon 765G SoC for the Realme X50 5G model, the company’s Cheif Marketing officer Xu Qi Chase has posted a Realme X50 5G render which shows off the rear-design in the ‘Polar’ colour option in gradient finish. It also reveals the vertically-arranged quad-camera setup at the top-left corner. Though the front panel isn’t shown, we already know it will have a pill-shaped dual-punch hole design to accommodate the selfie snappers and ultra-slim bezels.
Realme X50 5G specifications and features
Realme X50 5G is already confirmed to support dual-channel Wi-Fi as well as dual-mode 5G. The leaked specifications claim the Realme X50 5G would sport a 6.44-inch full HD+ S-AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass layer It is expected to be available in three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage. The handset is tipped to boot Android 9.0 Pie based on ColorOS 7 custom skin on top.
As for the cameras, Realme X50 5G is expected to house a vertically-arranged quad-camera setup with 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it is said to rock a 32MP sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens in the pill-shaped punch-hole cutout. While it isn’t confirmed, it could pack a 4,500mAh battery with Super VOOC 4.0 fast-charging support. With the launch right around the corner, we should know more details about the Realme X50 5G then.
