Realme X50 5G has been launched in China and is officially the company’s first-ever 5G smartphone. The handset will take on Xiaomi’s Redmi K30 5G, which was announced last month in the country. Realme X50 touts a dual punch-hole display and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 765G chipset. The smartphone also highlights a 120Hz refresh rate, a 64MP quad camera setup and up to 12GB RAM. Additionally, the Realme X50 5G gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports 30W VOOC fast charging.
Realme X50 5G price and availability
The Realme X50 5G price starts at RMB 2,499 (around Rs 25,700) for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 6GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB options are said to cost RMB 2,699 (around Rs 27,800) and RMB 2,999 (around Rs 30,900), respectively. The phone is up for pre-orders in China and its first sale will be on January 14th. Realme has also announced the Realme X50 5G Master Edition that will retail at RMB 3099 (around Rs 32,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant.

Realme X50 5G key specifications include a 6.57-inch FHD+ (1080×2340) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage variant. Realme X50 5G is the brand’s first smartphone to come pre-loaded with Realme UI atop Android 10 out of the box. The handset houses a 4,200mAh battery with 30W Super VOOC 4.0 fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Realme X50 5G rocks a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 64MP Samsung GW1 (f/1.7) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.3) 119-degree ultra wide-angle lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro lens, and a 12MP (f/2.5) 2x telephoto lens. Realme X50 5G gets dual front-facing cameras that include a 16MP (f/2.0) sensor accompanied by an 8MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens for selfies and video calling.
For connectivity, the Realme X50 5G employ dual-band SA/NSA support for 5G networks as well as VoLTE networks, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
