Realme X50 5G phone is confirmed to be in the development, and the teaser poster revealed a pill-shaped cutout on the top-left corner to house dual front-facing cameras. Now, the young Chinese brand has confirmed the Realme X50 5G would be powered by the latest Snapdragon 765G SoC and will come with dual (SA and NSA) 5G modes. The octa-core chipset consists of Kryo 475 with clock speed of up to 2.3GHz and Adreno 620 GPU. Apart from Realme X50 5G, the Redmi K30 5G and the upcoming OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G will also use the same chipset.

According to the recently leaked Realme X50 5G specifications, it is said to sport a 6.44-inch full HD+ S-AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be available in three variants: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage. As for the optics, it is expected to house a quad-camera setup with 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it is said to house a 32MP sensor and an 8MP wide-angle lens. The handset is also tipped to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for Super VOOC 4.0 fast-charging.
Realme X50 Youth Edition specifications
Alongside the Realme X50 5G, the company is also working on the Realme X50 Youth Edition, which will also have 5G support. It is said to flaunt a 6.55-inch IPS LCD display by JDI and is claimed to ship with the latest MediaTek MT6885 5G. The quad-camera setup at the back could include a 16-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. While not confirmed, the Realme X50 5G could house 32MP snapper for selfies. It could get a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge support. Though the launch date isn’t known, it should be around the block given the company has started teasing its features.
