“Realme X50 specifications listed on TENAA include a 6.57-inch TFT display, up to 12GB RAM, 64MP quad camera setup, and 16MP + 8MP dual selfie cameras”
The Realme X50 launch is set for January 7th in China and the company has already confirmed the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor and support VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge tech. Now, the complete Realme X50 5G specifications have surfaced online thanks to a TENAA listing. Interestingly, this listing debunks some of the rumoured specifications of the handset, such as the display size, primary and selfie camera resolutions, and battery size. The TENAA listing also confirms Realme X50 5G will come with Android 10 out of the box.
Realme X50 5G specifications
The Realme X50 5G specifications, as per the TENAA listing, will be headlined by the 6.57-inch TFT display with full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) resolution; this contradicts the rumours of the 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. This also casts doubts over the rumoured 90Hz refresh rate for the display since the same source had tipped the screen size and refresh rate. It should be noted that since the handset features a TFT panel, it cannot have an in-display fingerprint sensor — Realme has already shared a teaser image showing a side-mounted fingerprint sensor (integrated in the Power button) for the upcoming handset.
Next up is the Android 10 software, which will be overlaid with ColorOS 7 custom software. The smartphone will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC running at 2.4GHz clock speed. When it comes to system memory, buyers will be able to choose between 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options, along with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants.
In terms of cameras, the Realme X50 5G will sport a 64MP primary sensor, backed by 8MP, 12MP, and 2MP sensors. In the front will be 16MP + 8MP dual camera setup for selfies, housed in a pill-shaped hole punched into the display. The TENAA listing also confirms the 4,100mAh battery capacity of the Realme X50 5G, along with dual-band SA/NSA support for 5G networks as well as VoLTE networks.
The handset will come in four colour options: Blue, Purple, Black, and Gold. This list, surprisingly, doesn’t include the Polar colour that the company has already confirmed in a recent teaser. The Realme X50 5G will weigh 202 grams and measure 163.8 x 75.8 x 7.9mm in size.
Realme X50 5G price
Realme X50 price was tipped recently by a less-than-reliable source, so there is no certainty if this leak will indeed based on sources or just an educated guess. According to the tipster, Realme X50 5G price starts at RMB 2,199 (~Rs 22,000) for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB options are said to cost RMB 2,499 (~Rs 25,000) and RMB 2,799 (~Rs 28,000), respectively. However, the report completely skips the prices of the 6GB and 12GB RAM variants as well as the 64GB storage option, which should bring down the price. It looks like we will have to wait for the Realme X50 5G launch event on January 7th to find out the actual prices.
