Realme X50 Pro will have six cameras and 20x zoom support, launching in India on Feb 24th

“Realme X50 Pro will launch in India the same day as its global launch in Madrid on February 24th”

It seems the Realme X50 Pro will pip the iQOO 3 to become India’s first 5G smartphone. Realme announced this week that it will launch the Realme X50 Pro in India on February 24th, the same day as its global launch in Madrid. You can catch the live stream of the launch event in Madrid starting 2:30 PM IST. The Realme X50 Pro is hardly a mystery now. We already know the smartphone’s key specifications will include the Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G support, 65W SuperDart fast charging tech and 90Hz AMOLED display. A new Realme teaser image on Weibo has now confirmed that the smartphone will come with a total of six cameras and will support 20x zoom. Now, the only thing left to be revealed is the Realme X50 Pro price in India.

Realme X50 Pro cameras

The poster spotted on Weibo confirms the Realme X50 Pro will sport a quad camera setup on the back and dual selfie cameras housed within a pill-shaped cutout on the display. It also reveals that the phone will support 20x hybrid zoom, much like the Realme X2 Pro. To recall, the Realme X2 Pro flagship smartphone was launched with a 64MP quad camera setup that included a 13MP telephoto lens which could support 5x hybrid optical zoom and 20x hybrid zoom. We expect the Realme X50 Pro to offer a similar camera configuration.

Realme X50 Pro specifications

Realme X50 Pro will sport a Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC and will come with 5G support. Realme plans to launch the Realme X50 Pro in India a day before the iQOO 3, which was earlier announced to be India’s first Snapdragon 865-powered 5G smartphone. Additionally, the Realme X50 Pro will come with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, and a higher RAM variant is also expected.

Realme X50 Pro is also rumoured to feature the new 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor as the main camera. The smartphone will support the new 65W SuperDart fast charging tech, that should juice up the device faster than the 50W SuperVOOC fast charger. Realme claims the new fast charging tech will not heat up the phone and will also offer enhanced battery life. The company may reveal a few more details about the Realme X50 Pro in days leading up to its launch on February 24th.
