OnePlus Nord 2 will be a rebranded Realme X9 Pro
According to tipster Arsenal on Weibo, Realme is developing two different versions of the Realme X9 Pro. One variant will have the Snapdragon 870 SoC and curved screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the other version will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and feature a flat display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The tipster claims that the Realme X9 Pro with the MediaTek chipset will be launched in international markets as the OnePlus Nord 2 next month. Meanwhile, the Realme X9 Pro will be launched in global markets with the Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Realme phone is expected to launch in India as well.
It is also worth mentioning that the Realme X9 Pro is expected to share similarities with the OPPO Reno6 Pro+. If the latest report from China is true, the OnePlus Nord 2, Realme X9 Pro, and OPPO Reno 6 Pro+ could be similar smartphones. This doesn’t come as a surprise as all three brands have the same parent company.
