Realme XT Pro? Realme promises 90Hz display phone cheaper than OnePlus 7

“Realme XT Pro is expected to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, ship with Snapdragon 730G, and feature a 64MP primary rear camera”

Realme is joining the 90Hz refresh rate bandwagon shortly as the brand’s product manager Wang Derek confirmed that the company’s 90Hz display smartphone is not very far away. While the executive didn’t reveal any hardware details about the product, he mentioned that it would be cheaper than the OnePlus 7. There’s a possibility it could be the rumoured Realme XT Pro whose key specifications leaked recently. The Realme XT Pro handset is expected to sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and should have a next-generation in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Furthermore, the Realme XT Pro is tipped to ship with Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with 8GB LPPDD4X RAM RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that should be further expandable via microSD card. As for photography, Realme is expected to retain the quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The Realme XT Pro is expected to run on ColorO 6.0 based Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. On the front, it is likely to come with a 32MP snapper for selfies and video chats. Rumours also suggest the Realme XT Pro would come with NFC and a 4,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

Given the hype surrounding the 90Hz display’s off late thanks to the smoother refresh rate, it’s no wonder Realme wanting some action and it would be a game-changer in the budget segment, if priced right. Currently, the OnePlus 7 Pro, nubia Red Magic 3, and the Red Magic 3S offer 90Hz display. The upcoming Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, OnePlus 7T, and OnePlus 7T Pro are also rumoured to provide the same.
