“The Realme XT Pro shares most of its traits with Realme XT, except for the selfie camera, which is 32-megapixel shooter”
The Realme XT Pro smartphone, which has been the subject of rumour mill for quite some time, has seemingly surfaced on TENAA. A new Realme handset with model number RMX1991 has surfaced on the Chinese certification authority, and it has the exact same specs as the ones being associated with the Realme XT Pro. The handset sports a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, 32-megapixel front camera sensor, and 4,000mAh battery. The Realme XT Pro is believed to be an elder sibling of the Realme XT smartphone, which is scheduled to launch in India tomorrow. Adding further weight to it, the images of the Realme XT Pro has been shared with the TENAA listing.
The Realme XT Pro design seems to be quite similar to that of the regular XT. There is a quad rear camera vertically-aligned at the top-left corner of the phone with gradient finish. The edges appear to be aluminium, with a volume rocker on the left spine and with the SIM tray and power button on the right. While it isn’t clear, the Realme XT Pro is likely to come with a waterdrop notch display that houses the selfie camera at the small cut-out up top. Since there is no fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone, it’ll on the front – underneath the display.
As for the Realme XT Pro specifications, the listing reveals an unknown chipset with 2.2GHz clock speed. It’s likely to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC, sinch it has been in rumours for the Pro handset and has up to 2.2GHz clock speed. The SoC will be paired with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, which is user-expandable up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. Previous rumours also suggest 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of the phone. The Realme XT Pro will boot Android 9 Pie out of the box (of course, with OPPO’s custom skin ColorOS running atop). The 4,000mAh battery on the handset will have 3,920mAh rated capacity and is likely to be backed by 30W VOOC charging support.
In the camera department, the Pro variant will have the same setup as the Realme XT. The primary sensor, according to TENAA, is 64-megapixel – aided by 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel secondary, third, and fourth sensors, respectively. Lastly, the Realme XT Pro could be the most affordable 90Hz refresh rate display smartphone, which the company has promised.
Realme is yet to reveal the launch date of the phone, but since the handset has now been certified, it’s believed to be just around the corner.
